Un-AI Privacy Policy

1. Overview

"Un-AI" (hereinafter "the App") is a focus-support application designed to help users build concentration skills without relying on AI tools or social media.
The App requires no account registration and does not transmit or store any personal information to external servers. All session records and settings are stored exclusively in local storage on the user's device.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Focus session settings (timer duration, goals, etc.)
• App preferences such as theme and language

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

• App usage data (Android only): Names and durations of apps used during a session (only when the Usage Access permission is granted). This data is used solely for on-device reporting and is never transmitted externally.
• Advertising identifiers and device information: Used by Google AdMob for ad delivery and measurement.
• IDFA / GAID: On iOS, collected only after the user consents through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.

• Providing focus session features (timer, AI/SNS app detection notifications)
• Displaying session records and post-session reports
• Ad delivery and measurement (Google AdMob)
• Retaining user preferences and settings

4. Usage Access Permission (Android)

On Android devices, the App may request the Usage Access (UsageStats) permission for the following purposes:

• To detect when AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) or social media apps (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) are launched during a focus session, and to send a motivational notification to help the user stay focused
• To generate an app usage report at the end of a session

All app usage data collected via this permission is stored only on the device and is never transmitted or shared externally.
This permission is used only during active focus sessions and is not used for any purpose unrelated to the App's focus-support features.

5. Notification Permission

On devices running Android 13 or later, notification permission is required to send AI/SNS app detection alerts. Notifications are only sent during active focus sessions.

6. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS devices, the App requests user consent for use of the advertising identifier (IDFA) via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before accessing it. The App's core features remain fully available regardless of the user's choice.

7. QR Code and Family Feature

The App may include a family ID feature using QR codes.
Family IDs are generated and managed entirely on-device (UUID). No data is sent to external servers.

8. Sharing Information with Third Parties

We do not share personal information with third parties, except in the following cases:

• When required by law
• With the user's explicit consent

9. Third-Party Services

• Google AdMob (Google LLC) — Privacy Policy
• Google Fonts (Google LLC) — Privacy Policy

These third-party services collect and process information according to their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their data handling practices.

10. Data Retention

• Session records and settings: Retained until the App is uninstalled (local storage only)
• App usage logs: Retained on-device until the user deletes them

11. Data Deletion

Since the App does not retain data on any server, uninstalling the App permanently deletes all locally stored data.

12. International Data Transfers

Use of third-party services such as Google AdMob may result in advertising-related data being transferred to countries outside your own. These service providers maintain appropriate data protection measures.

13. Children's Privacy

Users under the age of 13 require parental consent. While the App is designed as a tool to help children build healthy focus habits, parents and guardians are responsible for appropriate supervision of its use.
