Daily Brain Training 【Brain Region Calculation Training】 — Terms of Service

Article 1 (Introduction and Scope)

These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") define the conditions for using the application "Daily Brain Training 【Brain Region Calculation Training】" (hereinafter "the App") provided by hovvy (hereinafter "we" or "our").

These Terms apply to all features, content, and support provided in connection with the App.

Article 2 (Service Overview)

This App provides brain-training games targeting specific brain regions. Key features include:

• Elevator Calculation (Frontal Lobe): A mental arithmetic game designed to train logical and calculation abilities. Perform multiplication and division as an elevator travels up and down.
• N-back (Hippocampus): A working memory training game where you compare the current stimulus to the one presented N steps back, training the hippocampus’s memory consolidation function.
• Target Number (Temporal Lobe): A calculation training game where you combine number cards to reach a target number within a time limit, exercising language and numerical processing abilities.
• Daily Challenge: A daily challenge mode where you complete all three training games each day, with selectable difficulty levels.
• Achievement System: Tracks your progress and accomplishments across all training modes.

Article 3 (Eligibility)

• Users must be 13 years of age or older (users under 13 require parental consent)
• Users must agree to these Terms

Article 4 (Account)

No account registration is required to use this App. All training data and achievements are stored only in local storage on your device.

Article 5 (Prohibited Activities)

The following activities are prohibited:

• Reverse engineering, decompiling, modifying, or reproducing the App
• Infringing the rights of others
• Unauthorized access or attacks on systems
• Commercial use without authorization
• Activities contrary to public order and morals
• Any other activities we deem inappropriate

Article 6 (Intellectual Property)

All intellectual property rights in the App's content (UI, design, question data, images, logic, etc.) belong to us or their respective rights holders. Users may use the App only for personal, non-commercial purposes.

The training content in this App is for entertainment and cognitive training purposes only and does not guarantee any medical effects.

Article 8 (Data Handling)

This App does not transmit user data externally. All training data and achievement data are stored only on your device. Data may be lost upon uninstalling the App.

Article 9 (Changes and Suspension of Service)

• We may change, add, or remove service content.
• We may temporarily suspend the service for system maintenance.
• We may terminate the service for significant reasons.

We will give advance notice of important changes or termination in the app or on the store page whenever possible.

Article 10 (Disclaimer)

2. We are not liable for any damages arising from use or inability to use the App, except in cases of intentional or gross negligence.
3. We do not medically guarantee any cognitive or health benefits from using this App's training.
4. We are not responsible for data loss due to app uninstallation or device initialization.

Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

We will notify users of important changes via in-app notifications or our website. Updated Terms take effect upon posting.
