Prompt Beacon Terms of Service

Article 1 (Introduction and Scope)

These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") define the conditions for using the desktop application "Prompt Beacon" (hereinafter "the App") provided by hovvy (hereinafter "we" or "our").

These Terms apply to all features and content provided in connection with the App.

Article 2 (Service Overview)

Prompt Beacon is an AI prompt logging tool for developers and creators. Key features include:

• Prompt logging: Record AI prompt details with hashtags, app tags, result notes, and status
• Status management: Track prompts as In Progress, Done, or Failed
• History browsing: Filter logs by hashtag or app tag
• CSV export: Export your log data at any time
• Theme and language settings: Customize appearance; supports English and Japanese

All data is stored locally on your device. The App runs completely offline and requires no internet connection.

Article 3 (Price)

This App is provided completely free of charge. No account registration is required.

The "Buy Me a Coffee" link in the app is an optional support link for the developer. There is no obligation to pay.

Article 4 (Eligibility)

• Users must be 13 years of age or older (users under 13 require parental consent)
• Users must agree to these Terms

Article 5 (Prohibited Activities)

The following activities are prohibited:

• Reverse engineering, decompiling, modifying, or reproducing the App
• Using the App to infringe the rights of others
• Intentionally exploiting vulnerabilities in the App
• Unauthorized redistribution or sale for commercial purposes
• Any activities that violate applicable laws
• Any other activities we deem inappropriate

Article 6 (Intellectual Property)

All intellectual property rights in the App's content (UI, design, logic, etc.) belong to us. Intellectual property rights in log data entered by users belong to the respective users.

Article 7 (Data Handling)

1. All data you enter into this App is stored locally on your device.
2. We have no access to your log data.
3. Please back up your data using the CSV export feature.
4. We are not responsible for any data loss caused by uninstalling the App or clearing data.

Article 8 (Changes and Suspension of Service)

We may change or suspend the App, in whole or in part, without prior notice in the following cases:

• Responding to changes in OS or framework specifications
• Service termination for business reasons

We will notify users of important changes or termination in advance whenever possible.

Article 9 (Disclaimer)

1. We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or continuity of the App.
2. We are not liable for any damages arising from use or inability to use the App, except in cases of intentional or gross negligence.
3. We are not responsible for issues caused by changes in OS or framework specifications.
4. We are not responsible for the content of log data entered by users, nor for any issues arising therefrom.

Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Article 11 (Changes to Terms)

We will notify users of important changes in the app or on our website. Updated Terms take effect upon posting.
