Atom-Q Terms of Service

Article 1 (Introduction and Scope)

These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") define the conditions for using the application "Atom-Q" (hereinafter "the App") provided by hovvy (hereinafter "we" or "our").

These Terms apply to all features, content, and support provided in connection with the App.

Article 2 (Service Overview)

Atom-Q is an educational application for learning chemical bonds through an intuitive puzzle-style experience. Key features include:

• Sandbox Mode: Freely place and bond atoms following valence rules to build molecular structures. Molecule names are displayed when a structure matches the built-in dictionary.
• Quiz Mode: Build the correct molecular structure to match a displayed target molecule name. Features IUPAC name partial-highlight synchronization.

Article 3 (Eligibility)

• Users must be 13 years of age or older (users under 13 require parental consent)
• Users must agree to these Terms

Article 4 (Account)

No account registration is required to use this App. All learning data is stored only in local storage on your device.

Article 5 (Prohibited Activities)

The following activities are prohibited:

• Reverse engineering, decompiling, modifying, or reproducing the App
• Infringing the rights of others
• Unauthorized access or attacks on systems
• Commercial use without authorization
• Activities contrary to public order and morals
• Any other activities we deem inappropriate

Article 6 (Intellectual Property)

All intellectual property rights in the App's content (UI, design, molecule dictionary data, logic, etc.) belong to us. Users may use the App only for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Article 7 (Accuracy of Learning Content)

The molecular data and IUPAC names provided in this App are prepared for high school chemistry level. The learning content is an educational support tool and does not guarantee complete accuracy. Please refer to official textbooks and materials for actual study and examinations.

Article 8 (Advertising)

This App uses third-party services such as Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for ad delivery and measurement. Advertising helps maintain the App as a free service.

Article 9 (Changes and Suspension of Service)

• We may change, add, or remove service content.
• We may temporarily suspend the service for system maintenance.
• We may terminate the service for significant reasons.

We will give advance notice of important changes or termination in the app or on the store page whenever possible.

Article 10 (Disclaimer)

1. We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or continuity of the App.
2. We are not liable for any damages arising from use or inability to use the App, except in cases of intentional or gross negligence.
3. We are not responsible for issues caused by failures or specification changes in external services (advertising, etc.).
4. We are not responsible for data loss due to app uninstallation or device initialization.

Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Article 12 (Changes to Terms)

We will notify users of important changes via in-app notifications or our website. Updated Terms take effect upon posting.
