Arealist Terms of Service

Article 1 (Introduction and Scope)

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") define the conditions for using the smartphone application "Arealist" (hereinafter referred to as "the App") provided by waya (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", or "our").

Article 2 (User Registration)

1. Users shall use the App after agreeing to these Terms.
2. If false information is provided during user registration, use may be suspended.

Article 3 (Service Content)

The App provides area management and recording functions:

• Recording and management of areas based on location information
• Area display on the map
• Recording of activity history
• Creation and editing of custom areas
• Association of photos with areas
• Visualization of visit history

Article 4 (Use of Location Information)

1. The App uses the user's location information to provide the service.
2. Location information is used only with the user's consent.
3. Location information is saved only on the device and is not sent to external servers.
4. Users can stop the use of location information at any time from settings.

Article 5 (Usage Fees)

The App is provided free of charge. Optional paid features may be added in the future.

Article 6 (Prohibited Acts)

Users must not perform the following acts:

• Unauthorized use of the App
• Acts that cause trouble to others
• Acts that violate laws and regulations
• Acts that infringe on the privacy of others
• Taking photos or recording in inappropriate places
• Decompiling or reverse engineering the App

Article 7 (Service Suspension)

We may temporarily suspend or interrupt the service due to maintenance, system failure, malfunction of external services, etc.

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

1. We are not responsible for any damages caused by the use of the App.
2. We are not responsible for data loss, etc.
3. We do not guarantee the accuracy of location information.
4. We are not responsible for defects caused by the status of external services (advertising, map data provision, etc.).
5. We are not responsible for privacy issues caused by the use of the App.

Article 9 (Intellectual Property Rights)

Intellectual property rights related to the App belong to us or legitimate rights holders. Ownership of data entered by the user belongs to the user.

Article 10 (Handling of Data)

1. User data is saved only on the device.
2. We do not save user data on external servers.
3. Users can delete data at any time.

Article 11 (Changes to Terms)

We may change these Terms as necessary. Important changes will be announced within the App.

Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by Japanese law, and the Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive agreed court of first instance.
